Violin after Guarneri del Gesu 1737 (ex Joachim) SOLD
A recently finished modern violin after this great original. The 2 piece back of Bosnian maple with deep flames, matched ribs and neck,
complimented by a classical looking Italian spruce front. The lightly shaded oil varnish of a warm orange colour, allowing the ground and
wood to reflect freely. The sound is very even, a warm dark lower register with a mellow yet bright treble range.
