A very successful design for an Alto Viola, a full model with a
string length of 376mm. The deeply flamed one piece quarter cut back of native
sycamore, seasoned since 1994, with matching ribs and neck. The Alpine spruce
front of straight even grain and the oil varnish a transparent rich amber
colour
over a reflective golden ground. The instruments sound is evenly balanced,
responsive and with a warm tenor quality.
